
March 30, 2009: Introduction to Better Health, 7:00 p.m., Berkley Public Library
We addressed a basic question: what is food? By exploring the Big Three (corn, soy, and wheat) of the American food system and the Big Three of nutrition (carbohyrates, protein, and fat), we gained a better understanding of what makes the difference between nutritious, tasty foods and their less-savory counterparts. The audience had lots of questions and feedback and asked for a second session.
